LETTERS! We Get Letters!

This is an actual letter received from a Highland Park Montessori Parent...

Dear H.P. Montessori:

This letter comes from my heart.

Your school is such a delight! It's the finest preschool I've ever seen, and I feel lucky to have found you.

Being a working mom, I did a lot of phone calling and investigating before I visited H.P. Montessori. I needed a place that was loving and nurturing for Jordan, so I could leave him with confidence, and you know that he would be well cared for. Your school more than exceeded my expectations.

Your teachers are wonderful, dedicated people, and their positive attitude is such a tremendous influence on our son. He loves everything! From block building to writing his name, numbers and the alphabet. All of this at four years of age! I'm sure you could see the pride shining from his eyes as he brought home his reader. I also really appreciate the fact that learning is allowed to happen at each child's individual pace. Jordan doesn't feel he has to compete with others. He's working to exceed his own achievements.

There are so many extra things that attracted me to H.P. Montessori. I like the way teachers set limits in a firm and friendly way. I like your homemade lunches and health-oriented snacks, the age-integrated classrooms, the nearby park, field trips, and the wide variety of subjects taught -- from cooking to geography. (I wish I had gone to your school as a kid!)

Jordan likes to ask us, "Is it a school day?" If it is, how great it makes me feel when he says, "Oh, GOOD!"

What more could I ask for?
